Minds Eye Education runs a training course for Primary School Teachers based on the Davis Method approach. This course is offered to qualified primary level teachers who are registered or eligible for registration with the Teaching Council. The course may be particularly relevant to teachers moving to an SET role or new to that role. Additionally, second-level teachers responsible for teaching literacy to students with dyslexia are welcome to attend.
Key Learning Outcomes for Level 1 – Understanding Dyslexia and its Impact on Learning:
A course certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Qualified teachers who have completed this course may apply for inclusion on the Minds Eye Education tutor lists, which are available to members.

Minds Eye Education is offering a new Dyslexia and Literacy Assessment Course for Teachers based on the Davis Method approach. The course has been designed to provide information and training for Primary and Second level teachers on the various screening tests for dyslexia (both at Primary and Secondary School) as well as the different literacy attainment tests used for RACE, DARE, and Irish exemption applications.
